|Recommended: Yes8 10 — The apartment is very nice it has many amenaties. The neighbors are awesome as well. A few complaints I had were the upstairs neighbors can be heard at all hours of the day and some mail companies would not deliver mail to the address.
response from property -Thank you for your review!
|Recommended: YesI think the location and price is conveniant. — The Bellaire is a modern, semi-upscale apartment complex. In being newly built, the complex is a nice, short walk to campus, dowtown, and stadiums. The pricepoint along with convenience makes this a winner.

|Recommended: YesBest apartment complex near downtown State College — Very spacious, friendly staff, can't hear the neighbors at all, 10 10 would recommend living here.
|Recommended: YesGood — Overall I love living at the Bellaire. However, the chairs at the peninsula are way too high, it seems like they were rushed to be put in. It is hard to have 6 people in an apartment without functioning chairs.
Thank you for your review!
|Recommended: YesReally nice — Great location, really nice layouts with our own bathrooms and great access to the campus

|Recommended: YesNice Apartment Space, Lacks Some Things... — I think this apartment is very nice and clean, which is what I valued most when looking into apartments. It's very modern and everything installed is almost brand new. For living downtown I feel it is possibly the nicest space you can get that's more affordable than some other competing apartments. Although, I feel for the amount of rent you're paying there isn't much else to the community. There aren't any amenities like a gym, but there is on-site laundry. Like most other residents would say, the biggest problem right now is the mail. I've been told several times it's not possible to get mail unless you open a P.O box. The office knows and is working on it, but I also see mail parcels near where the mail would've been on the 1rst floor, and I'm not sure how people are getting it sent here The mail system is a mess, but the apartment space itself is very very nice

|Recommended: YesThe property is nice and is aesthetically pleasing. — I personally like living at the Bellaire as my apartment is brand new, well kept, and designed well. It is also nice that we have a bus stop right in front of our apartment in addition to being a five minute walk away from the White Loop stop at the Meridian. That being said, living at the Bellaire does have it's cons as well. For the entire school year and for what I expect going into next year too as the Apartment Store has not emailed us that they have resolved this problem we have not had our mail delivered to us. Our mail is delivered to the post office on South Fraser, a good 25-30 minute walk away. It is incredibly inconvenient and absurd no other apartment that I know of in State College has this problem that we cannot get our mail delivered to our designated mailboxes. As well, in the mornings, the water treatment plant next door starts construction incredibly early so sometimes that wakes me up. Overall, if it weren't for the mail ordeal, I would say living at the Bellaire has been a good experience. In the beginning when we had multiple problems with leaks, the Apartment Store acted promptly and sent maintenance people over as soon as they could.
Thank you for your review. We fully understand the frustration of the USPS as we have not stopped trying for them to do the right thing. You would be correct when you stated it is not resolved with the USPS which again is very frustrating for all involved. Thank you for staying with us.
|Recommended: YesIt is great but definitely could be improved. — I think the apartment itself is great in general. Some things like the distance to campus are inconvenient but not too bed. My only real complaint is the thickness of the walls windows. I am awoken to construction every morning monday through friday just because the windows do not block the sound well at all. They also have a small draft through the windows.

|Recommended: YesIt is nice — its nice, a little far from things, there is no security system for the building which is weird

|Recommended: NoThin walls, no mail, no guest parking. — Almost 90 days with no USPS service, all mail is on hold at the post office a mile away, management has handled this by giving tenants names and numbers of local and state postal workers to harass. We were given a key when moving in that works for our perpetually empty mailbox. You can hear every word spoken in the hallways and our ceiling fixtures constantly rattle from our upstairs neighbors. Additionally, there is no guest overnight parking available without getting borough clearance for street parking, which has made visits with friends and family from out of town extremely stressful.
Elise,
Thank you for your review. We are well aware of the USPS issue that is out of our management office control, that would be why it was great that you have the attention of the newspapers and tv news crews to get the story of the unfair treatment of our resident guests out there for all to see and know that the USPS is loopholing our residential building into a dormitory classification which it is not a dormitory but a residential building.
We did not ask for our resident guests to harass the USPS, we asked you all to contact them with your resident concerns since them not doing their job is affecting you directly and they need to know that is how you feel. Us calling the USPS every day on your behalf since our resident guests moved in August 2019 was getting our management office nowhere, yet all residents thought it was somehow our office holding your mail, we are not Federal Employees that have such power. We have kept in communication with our resident guests as much as possible when we have any kind of information to give but USPS stonewalling our building and refusing to deliver the mail is nothing that we can control as again you are well aware.
Our management office, the owners, the political offices of our local area are all trying to help our resident guests receive their mail as you know from your frontline participation for the building, thank you, this is an active issue that we have never stopped trying to resolve and your review is helpful.
|Recommended: YesBrand new beautiful apartment complex — It's a brand new apartment building with decent location. Newly furnished, two shared bedrooms that are spacious, convenient in unit washer and dryer, dishwasher, and microwave. Although the unit itself is brand new and beautiful, I wish the place had amenities such as a study lounge and gym. Lots of maintenance issues being a brand new building. Not worth 820 a month in my opinion, but still a nice place to live.
